Showing up is sometimes a win in itself. So today, I show up here and begin to write this blog. With more wins like this I hope that this blog becomes a place where a few of you will find something positive and add it to your day.  This space itself will evolve as it expands. I do not expect you will find every post useful or applicable to yourself in the moment but hopefully overall you will find enough here to justify revisiting often.  Of course your feedback will be a very useful tool to help direct some of these posts towards addressing some issues that may be important to you.

Each day through my work I meet so many inspiring people taking on their own battles and making tougher choices for a better tomorrow for themselves and their loved ones.  It is so easy to assume everyone else has none of the barriers that you have to attaining the goals you want, but in reality when we get out of our own little bubble and interact more or take more of an interest in those around us, often we learn that our problems are not so unique that we cant take comfort or even help and motivation from those we meet each day.

Next time I will let you know about much fun a 5 hour 30+ min Spartan Beast in Mountain Creek, New Jersey can be and what I learned from it, and how a single intimidating training session 2 months earlier prepared me for it more than I could have thought possible.
